Peabody & Stearns designed several resort-specific buildings, such as the Casino in Elberon, New Jersey and the beach pavilion at Easton’s Beach in Newport, Rhode Island. In addition to boat houses for Harvard University and the Yale Boat Club, they designed buildings for the Expositions in Chicago (1892-93), the Pan-American Exposition (1901-02), and the Louisiana Purchase Exposition (1903-04).
