Annie Robinson began to research the work of Peabody & Stearns in 1997.  Her M.A. thesis at Tufts University, “The Resort Architecture of Peabody & Stearns in Newport, Rhode Island and Northeast Harbor, Maine,” became the basis of her current book project.  Peabody & Stearns:  Country Houses and Seaside Cottages will be published by W. W. Norton & Co. in Spring 2009.

Annie currently lives in Brunswick, Maine, with her husband and two dogs.
